The auction ORANGERIE, Ausgewählte Werke (ORANGERIE, Selected Objects) displayed, much like an actual orangery, the finest objects from across the world. They range from antiquities to autographs, from prehistoric objects to Bauhaus furniture. What all objects have in common is that they each come with their own story. The graphically elaborate Orangerie catalogs, with essays from prominent contributors and artistic photography, became a sophisticated tool for presenting the objects available for sale. We were responsible for the creative direction and the layout of the catalog. For each issue, we invited a renowned still life photographer to be featured in the catalog with a photo essay accompanying the objects on sale.
