Haus der Vorstellung
»Haus der Vorstellung« (House of imagination) was a campaign for the German DIY store Hornbach. The whole campaign was set around the idea, that a DIY store can help you materialize your visions. If you can imagine it, you can build it! As part of the campaign, 12 artists (including Chiharu Shiota, Laura Kikauka, Sissel Toolas, and others) were invited to create works in a vacant house in Berlin Mitte, transforming it into a temporary gallery. Around 24,000 people visited the »Haus der Vorstellung« during the three weeks that it was open. For the catalogue and the website we created a bold visual language, working with big letters, and giving it a rough feeling that reflects the temporary spirit of the project.
